" RISALA RUHI " A Persian Small Book by : HADRAT SULTAN BAHU
Risala Ruhi (Roohi) is a smallest but very important book in Persian. The title name RUHI is originally by an Arabic word “RUH” or “Ar-Ruh”
The treatise is often called RISALA RUHI SHAREEF (Ruhi, the holy Epistle)
Some of the main points can significantly be observed even during the 1st, reading:
1) Hadrat Sultan Bahu claims the whole treatise a Divine Revelation from the beginning to the end.
2) The affirmation of pantheistic note in the Sufi System in the atmosphere hostile to the theory of "Wahdat-ul-Wujud" due to the assertions of "Wahdat-ul-Shuhud" by Shaikh Ahmad Sirhindi, the Mujaddid Alif Thani, is noteworthy.
3) His vision about the manifestation and creation of seven SULTANS OF FAQR, He himself being one of them, is a revelation for the FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY OF SUFISM.
4) His emphasis on Faqr, the state conducive to receive GOD's LOVE and mercy as well as to become a channel to pass on the same to others is unparalleled.
5) The observation likes that of IBN ARABI that the gnosis is the highest aim of Sufi shows that he deserves the title of SULTAN-UL-ARIFIN.
6) His own achievement of the highest order as a Faqir is significant.
7) The Treatise can be learnt by heart easily and repeated regularly as a WIRD ___ Wird of gnosis, wird of power and blessing.
